The 50th reunion weekend kicked off on Friday afternoon with a tour of Glamorgan Castle, an Alliance landmark from the days of Alliance's bustling steel, manufacturing, and heavy industries years. Col. William Henry Morgan built his impressive residence on South Union Avenue in 1904 at the cost of $400,000. Today, the castle serves as the administrative office of Alliance City Schools. Alumni took a stroll back in time on a private tour led by a Glamorgan Castle guide.
All good men and women must take responsibility to create legacies that will take the next generation to a level we could only imagine.
